Hello sir! do you have money to spare?
Do you have any money, or do you not care?
its fine really. I didn't expect,
any money from you. no love or respect.
if you need me i'll be here in my box.
ahh who am i kidding i see how you mock.
at least you have clothes, and at least you have food.
i dont have anything compared to you.
on your front door i see you have locks.
i dont havve anything to protect my box.
when winter comes round, it gets really cold.
its so warm in your house im suprised you dont scold.
no one will help me. no no one will try
no one would care if this old man should die
you think youe so great with your shoes and your socks.
while all that i haveis this old weathered box. twisted

- I like how you approached the topic with a little satire instead of pity for the homeless. My only suggestion is that you proof-read before submitting. there were quite a few errors in spelling and punctuation. I do have a question; In the sixth stanza, second line, when you write “I’m surprised you don’t scold”, who isn’t being scolded? Or, by chance, did you mean to use the word scald?
