• Finally night has arrived,
for night you have always strived,
    it is cool and dark,
perhaps a nice walk in the park?

Nay, you rest your weary head,
    your body tucked into bed,
and never shall you ever know,
beyond that door of ultimate woe,
    sits I in the darkness,
    protecting you none the less.

And when the demons run about,
'tis I that make them pout,
and when the ghouls come for you,
I shall fight the night through.

And when the vampire come for blood,
I shall make them eat mud,
and when the Reaper does appear,
I shall stand up for you with out fear.

So worry not my precious love,
for I shall protect you tooth and glove,
so sleep soundly through the night,
and know I'm watching and you'll be alright.
