Who is that girl in the reflection?
 Not me, surely, but who?
Why does she move her hand with me?
With the same black heart tattoo

Why does she have the same brown hair?
 Curling around her face
Why does she have the same hazel eyes?
 Back and forth, they pace

 When did she get there?
 There, behind the glass
 Why am I not there?
 When did she pass?

 That's when it hits
 I figure it out
 That is me
 I'm sure, without a doubt

 This couldn't be me!
 This isn't me at all
 Wouldn't I know?
 Wouldn't I recall?

 But that is me
 For I have changed
 The choices I've made
 They have made me deranged

 I can't go back
 I'm to far gone
 Will someone help me?
 Before it's past dawn?

- Description: When I wrote this I had drugs in mind, because I have seen that drugs can make you different. It was after reading Crank by Ellen Hopkins. (Recommended)

- A very true poem. I happen to have an uncle who's a heroine addict so trust me when I say this is true
