Each new day rises a new battle.
Each new day a new chance to fight.
But for what?
Your games are for children.
You scream and you yell, but what's your point?
I'm left in the middle as you storm off forsaking what we once had.
Each new day rises a new wasteland.
Each new day a new chance to kill.
But for what?
You're acting like animals.
You shoot to kill and look away when asked, but why was there no other way?
We're left in the middle as you hide in your house, forsaking the world that we once knew.
Each new day rises a new world.
Each new day a new chance to end it all.
But for what?
You're throwing everything away.
You push the button to escape the hell that is life.
Nothing is left but an empty shell that has seen true chaos
Lest we forget who we are, nothing shall remain.
Heed my words and follow my voice,
We shall brave this dark new day.

I love this too, as I can totally relate to it.
And it's a really well crafted poem too, especially the last paragraph. - Report As Spam
