-
Tick-Toc goes the clock,
as we're running down the aisles.
Run Fast, run slow,
it seems that we run for miles.
Lonely dolls look at us
yearning to be free.
Their eyes seem to call to us saying,
"Please, come to me."
Toys by the lot
fall from their shelves
They try to come home with us,
as we try to save ourselves.
We reach the exit, looking behind
and see glassy eyes staring.
We open the door, and close it behind us
the toys still reach for our caring
The lonely toy store stood behind us,
the haunted toys squeal.
It's sad to say but,
the toy's wounds...
...will never ever heal.
