The city lights played across our entwined bodies.
Your breathing became a rhythmic comfort.
I never thought I could feel this way.
Your kiss in the dark was an electrifying sensation.
When I slip into my dream, I can feel your touch.
I never thought I could feel this way.
Even if eternity chooses to not smile upon us,
I'll always remember that night.
You made me feel for the first time.
I never thought I could feel this way.
(The city lights are starting to fade...)

Description:
I wrote this after having an amazing night with a guy I was dating. I'm trying to convey the feelings I had when we cuddled in bed while the city lights seeped through the blinds and covered us. At this point in our relationship, I was realizing that it wasn't going to go any further. This is what I wrote to always remember the night. Hope you guys like it, and hope some out there can relate!
