In my veins run ink of surest blue
They're falling down my cheeks as tears
I'm crying, dying over you.
I watch as though it's just a dream
Phantom letters; the hate they carve
I'm choking gasping on a scream.
Words I thought I'd never see
The twisted letters by your hand
I'm drifting, seething, going crazy.
Wavering and tilting; on the brink
Wading in neck-deep denial
I'm slipping, drowning in this ink.
Ink on my hands, and blood on yours
Both are stained now beyond repair
I'm falling, falling; blood-ink pours.
There's a bleeding heart upon the page
We both know well that it is mine
I'm falling, falling to a love-lost rage.
My eyes see red, but my blood pours blue...
Falling, bleeding
Because of you.

- Title: Falling: Blood of Ink
- Artist: F a t a l D e c o d e
- Description: This poem is about a girl who receives a horrible, hurtful letter from the one she loves deeply. She's hurt and horrified, but eventually, she's also angry. What's in the letter is up to your interpretation. I hope you enjoy it! Please comment so I can know what you think.

- I thought this was a really beautiful poem! I like the way you used the staining nature of ink to describe how she felt. Good job ! 5/5
