Lend me your ears
Let me tell you a tale
A tale about one
Who was destined to fail
But let me warn you right now
This is no normal story
There is no fame and fortune
No hope, and no gloury
Our hero, you see
Was small and quite weak
He'd lose every battle
And cry for a week
But he had one faint hope
There was a lady, you see
He loved her with all
That he was and would be
One day a great knight
Came waltzing through town
He took that nice lady
And bought her a gown
A wedding gown, yes
A most extravagant sort
And the two of them left
For honeymoon, by port
Now our young hero
Just on a whim
Followed them in the water
But he couldn't swim!
He drowned within minutes
Now everyone knows
Our hero, he died
His heart full of woes
So if you love someone
And she walks away
Move on from her,
Be happy anyway
For if you do not
You are destined to fail
Much like our hero
Of this pathetic tale.

- Description: I improvised this poem when my friend said she was bored. I did not edit it at all, since it was improvised (and should stay that way).
