Upon a stone bench near the nave
Sits a lost soul wishing for the grave
Ever since her death drove them apart
With him, he carries a bleeding heart
She was his world, his reason to stay alive
Now he no longer wishes to put up a strive
He can no longer take the replay in his mind
Of what he came home to find
None other than a pool of crimson red
Which lay his world gone and dead
There she lay in the light of the moon
Never did he think to loose her so soon
The knife cast aside to the floor
That had helped her become nevermore
Suicide it was indeed a fact
Alas there was no note in tact
To the ground he fell weeping with sorrow
Knowing she would not be there tomorrow
Only to see her tombstone with her story
To watch it fade and to hoary
From that day on he became hollow
And knew this wasn’t the path he was meant to follow
He was meant to be with her even in death
To see his world again, he decides to give up his last breath
On her tombstone he lays a rose on the grave
And vows to be the next to be placed by the nave…

Interestign work. From the beginning, I was wondering the story ...and you wrapped this one up nicely smile Everythign was tied together well.
I liked some of the lines too! (such as the sorrow-tomorrow line) Keep up the good work.! - Report As Spam
