- Description: This poem explains how it is an impossibility for one to understand another if they do not share the same hardship. Let's take a homosexual and their heterosexual friend, for example. The hetero friend cannot, and never will, fully understand the homosexual's hardships and conflictions, simply because the hetero friend is not homosexual as well - aka, they do not live on the same side.
