                Part 1
 The children play
 the snow falls.
 Parents making coccoa.
 Families gathered.
 Fires blazing.

 Hanging from gudders
 Ice sickles glisten
 The cold nips the skin
 children run inside.

 I remain outside
 I cannot feel the cold
 My body is numb
 Frost Bite has gotten me.

 Howver, I do not move,
 Until someone forces me.
I wait in the same spot,
 Staying where I am.

I hope the numbness will leave
 I hope to feel again.
 I hope and wait,
 Throughout winter months.
For you to return to me.

 Part 2
 Months come and go
 Spring, summer, fall,
 Winter has come again.

 I still wait,
 waiting by the curve
 I stand there unmoving
From midnight to noon, dusk till dawn.
 I stand frozen still.

People have to come and move me
I'm animated as I go through the days.
 My numness has not looses,
I still continue to wait for you.

I wait at the same spot,
 Where you left me.
I wait were you told me
 you would return to.

 Months still go by,
 Spring, summer, fall,
 and winter again.

 And I still Wait.

 Part 3
 As the months go by,
 so do the years.
 Before I knew it,
 Five years has passed.
People tell me to give up.

People say I live a false hope.
 There words bounce off.
 My mind, an impenatrable fortress.
I only believe in your words.

When you told me you'll return.
People have given up on me.
 People given up on us.
Even still, I will still wait.

By The curve I wait for you,
 Another year has passed.
You probably think I have given up,
Truth is, my numbness still remains.

My numbness remains to be lifted by you.
I will wait at the curve were you left.
I will wait till numbness subsides,
I will wait as another year has passed.

 Part 4
As I leave to go to the curve.
I here your name on t.v.
I heard you got your dream.
As I listen my numbness does not reside.

I hear you tell the reporter your plan.
 The person thinks its riduclous,
 Its been ten years.
 You laugh and say maybe,
 But still say you believe.
The reporter announces when you'll be leaveing
 And when you'll be arriving.

 My numbness doesn't lessen
I leave and wait to se you.
News broadcasts of your interview are everywhere.
People come and try to talk to me.

 The say congratz and appologize.
They say my love and hope is true.
 there words still bounce off.
As I'm still numb, waiting for you.

 I arrive at the curve,
 You are not there.
 I stand there and wait.
 My numbness still there,
 Only you in person
 Will release my numbness spell.

 Part 5
 Ten years has passed,
 I wait at the curve.
I saw you on Tv earlier.
 My numbness still remains.
People still come and speak with me.

I wait hours at the curve
The winter weather nipping my skin
 I do not feel it
 My numbness remains.
 Weatbher gets worse
 As a blizzard approaches.

 I do not move.
People drag me inside a coffee shop
 The call me crazy, insane.
 I stare blankly at them

They tell me to get over my numbness,
They tell me he will be here soon.
A stranger at a table waits for us.
He says a kiss from my love
will be the thing to awake me.

 I look at the man,
 My eyes have seen him
My brain does not register him.
I stare blanking at this familiar, unfamilar man.
