I sit here in my room.
I yearn for something to end my boredom.
I try to think of something to do,
When I realize, something is missing: you.
I go through life in a daze,
Nothing seems real to me.
You magically change it all
With a simple phone call.
When you call, I am human again.
I remember everything; I am happy.
After we hang up, my happiness fades away.
I return to my new norm for today.
The days seem like weeks.
The seconds crawl by at a snail's pace.
This creeping of time is new.
I wonder why; then I remember something is missing: you.
I love you more than life itself.
I would give my live to save yours.
The sound of your voice makes everything all right.
If for no more than tonight.
So, while you are missing,
I'll try to put the pieces together again.
I'll get my heart ready for glue.
But there is one big piece missing: you.
