Forgotten again, has the present gone wrong?
Of course it has, for the past is never truly learned
We live in a cycle, run by fools for years overrun
You think change occurs
Then you are surely dumb
The world is slowly decaying
Through fears, through lies
Through tears, and ties
That this world can't seem to let go
You think you can change things in this world
A ignorant whelp you must be
For you who have learned so much, should know this
That the world is not the same
Change favors the fate's last breath
A breath that will never cease to end
But for the good of the world, try, try
Don't let this disaster, this knowledge falter your path
For change is at your grasp
Raise your blade high to the sky
Call Ares down to give you strength
As you fight the battles inside
Don't give in, give up, forget
That on your shoulders rest:
The fate of the world, you are the chosen one
Break the mold that's never best
And from the servants, rich and poor
Gain the favor of the people to guide your sword
To never give in to the demands of those
That ruined this world
That made it old
Filled it with woe a plenty
And left it scorned
You are the one to change the world
You have learned well, now go be dumb

- Title: Trying to Change the World
- Artist: Chaotica Leonus
- Description: Not much inspiration on this except the constant thinking over how the world would be if we had competent leaders that actually could step up to the plate and learn from mistakes. That someone from the crowd was destined to fight establishment and bring a new beginning. Just thoughts that I'd thought I'd make a poem about.
