- It seems to be going two different directions, but I get the general idea. Certain friendships are held more closely then others, meaning that betrayal from a close friend would be far worse then that of an acquaintance. It would all depend on the situation, but I would agree that some friendship runs on deeper levels, and it would take a lot to break a good friendship.
