                I once upon a time
Hid myself from the world outside
 I and solitude's crime
 Rid on the only tide
 Alone

 What did I ever do
 How can I truly deserve
 Is this dream true
 Or will it cruelly curve
 Begone

 I once saw an angel
 And I saw her again
 Above the beauty of Babel
 Heaven itself and above Eden
 Flawless

 Her beauty shone bright
 Captivating to the eye
 Elegant as the night
Hold my heart and let it fly
 Weightless

 She flew down to earth
Down from Heaven and spoke to me
 Once again gave me birth
Broke me open and set me free
 Creation

 She then held my hand
A soul was made whole again
 Promises within a band
Sorrow forever to death is lain
 Salvation

					Description:
If you spend a few years living a life of social solitude, eventually you begin to believe that that is the life you are meant for. Then you meet someone, or someone meets you, and your life changes.
This poem is based on that idea. I was in the mood for writing, but didn't know what to write. Then, the love of my life told me to write a love poem. So I did. This poem was inspired by and is dedicated to you, my love.
