Innocence takes a form of a child
I lost him a long time ago
"Please don't leave me" he cried as i turned my back on him
Undeserved tugs on my shirt went unheeded as i took my step into adolescence
His cries went unheard as my heart turned on me
The strings in my heart so easily played by the most unprofessional puppeteer
The child sobbed by himself
Why did i not listen?
Why did i not nurture you?
The one thing i should have cherished was left alone to suffer my mistakes
As i cry i sometimes feel him tugging on my shirt
I turn but no one is around
I wish to see him again and hold him close against my tainted soul
Just for a second, if only a second

- That's really good! Other than needing to capitalize all the I(s) the only mistake is on this line "i turn but noone's around" no and one are seperate and you don't need the apostrophe on it. Oh well, I still give it a 5/5. Keep up the good work! ;D
