Oh, how elegantly doth the fires burn,
Their deep passion, a dance without concern.
The crackle of their movement
A warmth that feels hell-sent
But, oh how we adore,
That macabre dance we abhor
The joy of destruction and chaos,
Such a vile passion deep inside us.
Burn, burn to the ground!
That breath of Cerberus, Hell’s hound!
Watch it dance and horribly maim,
A wonderful spirit we cannot tame,
Yet we all know it by dearest name,
Our sweet, beloved mistress and destroyer, the Flame.

- Title: A Dance in Flames
- Artist: Lazuras Lefure
- Description: A poem written in a bout of pure sadomasochism that I submitted to my school's literary magazine. Oddly enough, it made it into the mag easily. Ironic that something written in such an odd, obscene mood came to be part of something greater.
