    we fade into the light
    to hide from our fears with their cruel truth
    to hope to see the better of our life

    we go to the dark to may be hear hell's bark,
    so that we know that we are not alone.
    We go to the light so that we may live a life,
    so that we can see its knight.

    But why do the people of the light want the darkness?
    When they have the light to show them the path.
    And why do the people of the dark want the light,
    so they may as well see the path in front of them.

    If so why do we have the light and the dark?
    I think it’s so that you may pick the path that we wish to have.
    To fade into dark or to the light?
    Which will you fade to?
