• Alas, that time of year has finally come,
    Where families come together and celebrate as one.

    It is that special feeling you get once a year,
    That fills your heart full of joy and of cheer.

    Upon the roof where the snow has stacked atop,
    You hear a crunching that could only be Pop.

    He slips down the chimney, quiet as can be;
    And leaves gifts that are so pleasing to see.

    You rip and you tear, you let your heart free,
    To all of the goodies Santa left under your tree.

    You play with your toys until you're worn out,
    You lay on the floor with a smile, not a pout.

    Father tucks you into bed tight that night,
    Your mother kisses your forehead, oh so right.

    Finally, Christmas holidays have come to an end,
    Only one more year 'til you see Santa again.
