• There are paths everywhere
    The paths lead everywhere
I follow a path like many others
Until one day I am pushed from my path

The path I am now on is one that many others have walked
    I am sorry for them
    I can feel for them

The path I am now on is worn
It is old but new, dangerous but safe
I can see where people have strayed
Trying to find their own paths
They end up lost, or they return to the path

This path crosses over many others
Those paths are the same and they are different
They are more walked on, it seems, than the one I am on
They do not carry hurt and they do carry hurt

    Then my path changes again
    I cannot deviate from it
    It is rough and ragged
    I nearly fell this time

The path I am on is not one I chose
I was forced onto this path
So now, all I can do is,
    Just follow the path
