A raven flying through the night
A Black Rose lying on a lone road
An Empty room in a darkened house
The thunder clouds in a sky
That go "KA BOOM!"
Black is sudden death that's
a mourner's worst dream.
black is full of pain and regret
to me black is only sorrow

- Description: when i first started writing poetry in 7th grade for a project in lit class we had to write a color poem. at that time some one dear to me passed away. that week of the funeral we had to think of the color we waned to write about. i chose black becasue of the funeral. that used to be my view on black. but i dont view it this way any more. that was then. i like this color now. this is one of my 1st poems
