• You were so much like a spider,
    I was the unsuspected moth.
You were gentle and caring to me,
I wanted to be your angel.

You ripped my beautiful white feathered wings of freedom,
Silenced me in your dark cloak of sin.
You shoved me into that iron cage.
    Locking me in.
I screamed and fought, but you always damaged me more.

How long was I you're little caged pet?
    A year?
    A century?
What happened to the man I loved,
The one who gave me those gentle kisses and warming hugs.
You devil behind that beautiful mask.

    Blood,
    Screams,
    Tears....
    Curse myself,
    Your caged angel.

I finally took the key from you,
    The other angels,
    My beloved friends.
Took me away and saved me from your cage of darkness.
    You devil who I loved,
I still scream in fear at night.
You coming in and out of my dreams.

You devil with the angelic mask,
You the spider of the web.
    You my cruel master,
    Who caged me.

I shall always be the caged angel as long as I live....
