Love is to open sky as loathing is to a pit in hell.
When love is new it’s fragile, when it’s aged it’s strong.
When loathing is new it’s burning in the soul, when it’s aged it cools off just a little.
New love, or old love,
It can change in a flash, lightning from the open sky,
Striking it down, sending it into the pits of hell.
Angels become demons, smiles laced with razor sharp teeth.
Claws to cut out a heart, watch the blood run.
Love of any kind can fade, wither and die.
Loathing left to fester in a dead heart or soul, burns and rots with a fiery acid.
A new soul, a new heart, a new love can stop the fire.
From the ashes of the broken, like a phoenix, a new love can bloom.
And the pits of hell shift and change, turning into the open skies once more.
Love is to open sky as loathing is to a pit in hell.
Both strong and weak, building and fading, growing and withering.

- Description: Just a small poem, I like how it turned out. The lyrics could probably be turned into an emo/screamo song.
