The blade is leveled
upon the trenches
in the deepest ocean depths
and upon the peaks
atop the highest reaching hills
but even as it separates lovers, in the throes of passion
it will create new life in it's own fashion
the blade is leveled upon the clouds
they part revealing sun
yet upon the very day
it will darken and show the moon
it will carry the ships across the ocean
but in the same slash send a storm it's way
the blade will make the rich man fat
but it will draw the poor's skin tight to bone
on the blade all Empires fall
though it began them as a hammer
monuments are built to resist the blade
buildings to break it
the blade cares not for the attempts
slash
slash
the statue will rust
slash
slash
the bridge will fall
slash
slash
the town will burn
slash
slash
stolen by the blade, never to return
slash
the sun fades
slash
the moon falls
slash
the stars vanish
slash
