Green is a meadow
dotted with many a daisy
Green is the colour
when your feeling lazy
Maybe greenis
a forest still
or the sloshing water
of a faraway mill
Silence is green
and so is thinking
and also the chimes
endlessly clinking
The green of a kite
Maybe a flower
or a fluroescent light
The moss and the trees
The bush and the peas
And definitely of course
the leaves that fall
Green is the colour
the best colour of all!
