Now awaken and let dawns fingures
of rosey red be your first sight
Sorry I couldn't be there this night
Or this mourning. But hear the crying of the birds
Hear the wind billowing
Now walk into the kitchen and brew your coffee
You're still heavy on cream and on sugar light
Sorry I couldn't be there this night
Or this mourning. The phone rings this early.
Sorry its not the call from me you expect.
Now please don't pick up the phone
Please... you don't understand my plight
Sorry I couldn't be there this night
Or this mourning. Now now please don't cry
Stifle those tears.
Now please someone offer you a shoulder
Now now it will be all right
Sorry I couldn't be there this night
Or this mourning. Now now please don't cry
I never ment to die.
I'm so so sorry I couldn't be there this night

- Title: Sorry
- Artist: Advent-Saint
- Description: This is a poem I wrote, for no reason in particular, just for fun I guess. I just through a few things together, so it's not overly long, but its not to short. So I'm ok with it.

- its a bit solemn, which i enjoy. it gives the reader a purpose for reading. if every poem we came across was happy then everything would be quite dull, don't you agree? It also has a melodious quality to it. its elegantly written, even if so hap-hazzardly thrown together, as you so claim. all in all i give it a 4/5.

- If you had worked harder on this and put some thought/consideration into it, this would have been wonderful. Other wise I think it's pretty good.
