Politicians
-
Black ink stains like tears
Sliding down the gray paper cover
Distorting the still images
That glare at one another.
-
Lips curled in disgust,
Teeth bared like wild dogs
With starched straight coats
And long black cars.
-
When lips curl into smiles
Unforgiving lines reveal
The telltale signs of liars,
Whose shield is kindness,
And sword is fear.

- My goodness. This is so far my favorite poem by you. It reads smoothely, and get the point across with even the simplistic folks out there can understand. heart It's down right lovely to the core.
