April, my birthday again
with showers bringing
May flowers. Mayday
and Mama's day, too.
June comes too soon.
We're let out of school again.
July celebrates by
bursting rays of joy.
Barbeque and smoke fill
the gentle August wind.
September is much too tragic.
All are forced to remember.
Candy fills the mouths
under the masks of October.
November's so chilly.
Snow angels flock our yards.
January drops the ball while
voices fill the littered streets.
February, so short.
Full of history, full of love.
March is so green.
Pinching jokes between friends.
Oh, I can't believe it's
April, my birthday again.

- Title: The Years Gone By
- Artist: Jaykay Jellybean
- Description: A poem we had to write in English class. It's called a circle poem, where the "writer takes the reader and a journey and brings them back to where they started at the end." The first and last lines are supposed to be the same. I really liked how it turned out, and I'm hoping you guys will too. :)
