Suddenly, the world stops spinning,
And the silence deafens you.
Your world unwilling crashes down,
So you just run.
You run,
But you know the consequences.
No home to go back to.
No shoulder to cry on.
No reassurance lays waiting.
You know,
Yet you run,
As a puppet on the Devil’s strings.
I know what happens when it happens.
Been there,
Done that.
So turn it all back,
Rethink what you’re going to do…
And stop.
Think.
Breathe.
Feel.
And be thankful you have a life.
Problems follow you everywhere,
So why can't you're everywhere be here...

- To glasshelix: The first two lines were from this Darkness poem we had to write when all the lights went out at WMS. Yeah, it was a little emo.

Mya!!! I liked it, haha. It actually made sense. Unlike most gaia poems.
4 stars, cuz at first i was like "Errrrr..." because the opening stanza sounds like one of those stupid emo poems. No, I liked it, it actually had meaning other than "look how deep i am". - Report As Spam

Simplicity always manages to charm me--you made great use of one-word sentences in the final stanza. I loved it.
