I find myself in a dance club
They all see right through me
I wave my hands in front of them
But they are too blind to see
I come upon a girl
She’s the only one to notice
She tells me I look lost
I ask her where the man is
She points me in the direction and smiles at me with care
I see him immediately, but to talk to him? I wouldn’t dare
He’s with the person I hate
She’s all over him
She looks at me and makes conversation
He looks at her in question
She gives up takes him away
Tries to do a ritual, has to do with a year and a day
He says not now love, maybe some time later
I follow them but I have nothing to say
They finally sit down, we watch the people dance
He can’t see me
I’m watching, waiting for him to say something
They leave its over now
We walk outside, what I’d give to hold him
He says “come on lets have some fun”
I start to cry, I love him more then anything
Now he’s listening Oh If I had known
“If I can’t have you I’ll let myself go”
Somehow he sees me though before he couldn’t
I really said some things I shouldn’t.
