I cower in fear for what is and
I can not sleep without a tear
Laying on my shoulder waiting
To fall off my pillow into a
Deep surrender, covered
By darkness never to see
Her again, and yet so attatched
To a nothing in the unknown
But silently she's dying inside.
I waited for her to wake,
But no such thing happened
And then I felt where the last
Tear had dropped to the ground
And slowly I felt someting
Streaming down my face
In realization that she was dead.
Life soflty moved on and
I visited her grave often
Leaving a tear behind to
Remind her of that night.
