Had a couple of questions on how I did this, sooo... the line work is pencil on paper, scanned, and the color is in photoshop 7. Tools I used were basically just the air brush tool, and the lasso tool.....

The way the hair seems to become scales and then
hair again is amazing. The two strands of the hair
on her forehead seem less detailed then the rest.
