Every once in a while, I get an urge to do an angel-esque picture. And then I play a game with myself to see how many different ways I can depict angels. :) Here's my latest, somewhat morbid spin on things, based on this phrase that runs through my head that I have no idea where I got from--"Even angels lose their wings." I'm really beginning to love shading lighting contrasts. :D

the best art i've seen in the arena
yet!
The position of the hand, on the wall, with
the blood, from the ripped wing, shows the pain
and agony....the fingers spread apart, as she's
clawing the wall. I'm amazed how the hair, with
the highlights, and the sun hitting it to make it
shine....and sparkle like that, it's so beautiful,
while still being a little dark! i love
it!
