The main purpose of this piece was that I wanted try and use no hard line's on this work and to see if I could try a more realistic approach in coloring this piece. Also the theme of this work was to show entrapment and hope for the harpie who only wanted to be free from her ice prison.
-_-;; I really don't think I did a god job on expressing the entrapment and hope themes that I was going for, but I like the overall effect, so I hope that you enjoy it anyway. - Date: 03/04/2004

I don't really like the face but the art is

It's absolutely gorgeous and the detail is
amazing. I think you're right though. I see
curiousity on her face rather than a feeling of
entrapment yet hope. It's gorgeous all the same.
