The main purpose of this piece was that I wanted try and use no hard line's on this work and to see if I could try a more realistic approach in coloring this piece. Also the theme of this work was to show entrapment and hope for the harpie who only wanted to be free from her ice prison.

Yes, I really do enjoy the overall effect. I
especially like how her hair branches out and
feathers the way it does.
Icy colors, but no
ice. That's okay.
She looks more as if she's
entranced and in awe of her environment, rather
than anything else.
This piece is deserving of a
