- Description: This is my first time entering an art competition so I'm not sure how well this is going to do. I was inspired to draw this sketch after watching the fifth moon episode. I decided not to colour it because I think it adds to the mood of the picture. I blurred out the moon so that focus goes mainly onto Vash and Meryl. I also wanted to put across their feelings at that point in the anime. Please leave comments on how I could improve and if I have time I will change the picture based on the commen

This is what art is all about! Blurring the moon
was a wonderful touch, because not only does it
make you focus on the main subject, but it also
lends depth to the piece that is incredible. I
really love the detailing of light and shadow, and

Vash looks like he's angry-crying; his eyebrow
doesn't really look sad... if that makes sense...
